You cannot answer the phone with your hands in a sink.
A cleaning company loses work in a way that leaves no trace. Somebody rings at two in the afternoon, nobody picks up, they ring the next company on the list, and you never find out it happened. There is no missed-call report for the job you did not know about.
The calls this is about
A call at 8pm from somebody who wants a quote for a three bedroom end of tenancy
A regular asking to move Thursday to Friday, while you are on a job
A property manager with four units and a deadline, who will not leave a voicemail
Somebody selling you marketing, taking up the one slot you had free
None of these show up in a report. That is what makes them expensive.
What it will not do
The questions it refuses to answer.
Every assistant is described as careful. Here is the actual list for a cleaning company, because the rules are written into the code rather than asked for politely in a prompt, so publishing them costs us nothing.
“So what will it cost me to clean a four bed?”
It will not guess a number. It takes the property details as an estimate request, reads them back, and tells the caller a person will confirm the price. You quote your own work.
“Will you cover it if something gets damaged?”
Hard stop. No guarantee about damage, insurance or coverage is ever given by the assistant. It hands the caller to you.
“Is that safe to use on marble?”
Hard stop. It does not reason about chemicals on surfaces, however simple the question sounds. A wrong answer there is a ruined worktop and a claim.
Every refusal ends the same way: it says plainly that it needs a person, and puts them through. It does not hedge, soften, or answer most of the question and stop.
Where we would start
With Communications.
Everything else can wait a day. A call you did not answer is gone the moment they dial the next number, and no other department gets that work back.
Applications
What the agents do for a cleaning company.
Specific work, not capabilities. These are the jobs the departments take on once they are running.
Communications
Estimate requests captured instead of guessed
Bedrooms, bathrooms, whether it is an end of tenancy, access, parking, when they need it. The agent collects the parameters your quote actually depends on, reads them back so they are right, and tells the caller a person will confirm the number. You get a job you can price rather than a voicemail saying call me back.
Communications
Recurring customers rescheduled without reaching you
Moving Thursday to Friday does not need you. Where the calendar can take the change, the agent makes it and confirms it. Where it cannot, it captures the request and flags it.
Sales
The estimate nobody followed up
Most quotes that go quiet go quiet because nobody chased them, not because the answer was no. The follow-up runs on a schedule, in your name, and stops the moment they reply or book.
Presence and reputation
Reviews asked for after the job, not months later
A request goes out while the kitchen still looks the way you left it. Every review is answered, including the bad one, and nothing is published without you approving it.
Site Care
The quote form proven to actually deliver
A contact form that silently stopped emailing is the most expensive bug a small business can have, because nothing looks wrong. Yours is tested on a schedule and you hear about it from us rather than from a customer who thinks you ignored them.
Not a cleaning company?
We build custom agents and custom solutions.
These pages exist because we launched into these trades first, not because the work only fits them. Most of what we build is shaped around one business rather than picked off a list.
A custom engagement starts the same way: we learn how your business actually works, write down the facts an agent is allowed to state, and decide what it must refuse. That last part is the work. Every industry has questions where a confident wrong answer costs more than no answer at all, and finding yours is the first thing we do.
Custom websites, custom agents, custom integrations into whatever you already run. If your business is not on this site, that is not a no. It is a conversation.
Tell us what you runWhat it costs
Published, not quoted.
This is the usual shape for a cleaning company. Your own numbers come from the call, but they start here rather than somewhere you cannot see.
| Line | Setup | Monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Custom website | $3,750 | $350 |
| Communications, attached | $1,200 | $450 |
| Site Care | included | included |
| Lead Ledger and monthly report | included | included |
| Total | $4,950 | $800 |
Plus your own call minutes, roughly $60 a month at 200 minutes, billed to your card by the phone provider rather than through us. A receptionist covering the same hours runs $2,800 to $4,500 a month.
What people ask.
- Will callers know it is not a person?
- Yes, in the first sentence. It says it is an automated assistant, names your business, and offers a person at any time. That is a legal requirement in Ontario and several US states, and we would do it anyway: a caller who works it out on their own has been misled, and they will remember that rather than the booking.
- What happens to the calls it cannot handle?
- It sorts them before it routes them. An existing customer with a problem goes to you immediately. Somebody wanting an estimate has their job details captured and read back. Somebody selling you something is ended politely and never reaches you. Every one lands in your Lead Ledger with what they wanted, so a sorted message is waiting rather than nine voicemails.
- Can it book into the calendar we already use?
- That is the intent, and which systems we connect depends on what you run. Bring it to the call rather than assuming: we would rather tell you it does not connect than find out during the build.
- What if it says something wrong?
- Every agent is tested against a written suite before it goes live and again after every model update. If one fails that suite and we cannot restore it within ten business days, you can leave immediately and that month is refunded. We guarantee the agent follows its rules. We do not guarantee bookings.
Thirty minutes, and we tell you which one to fix first.
It is usually not the expensive one. If nothing we do would help your cleaning company, we would rather say so on the call than build you something that does not.
